World Cleanup Day is an annual event celebrated by many countries, aiming to protect the environment and open to all volunteers. Various companies often join to set an example of how important it is to fight pollution and how much each person’s effort matters.
The Kärcher team, known for its social responsibility and participation in similar activities, also took part this year. On September 15, they worked across Georgia, cleaning several selected locations. Divided by cities, 35 Kärcher employees collected about 1.5 tons of waste, removing that amount of pollution from the environment.
The Tbilisi team cleaned the area around the Lermontov monument, the Kutaisi team focused on the old parliament area, the Zugdidi team cleaned the Anaklia waterfront, and the Batumi team took care of the Batumi waterfront.
This is not Kärcher’s first time joining the campaign. Each year, the entire team celebrates World Cleanup Day alongside others worldwide. As a company that offers cleaning products, demonstrating this commitment is very important to them and well understood by the team.
“Kärcher Georgia” is the Georgian branch of the well-known German brand Kärcher. Since 2016, it has provided both household and professional cleaning equipment in Georgia.
