“This is my hobby. I get a lot of energy from off-roading. That’s exactly why I was attracted to participating in the Rally Adventure Georgia competition. It’s a six-day, very enjoyable raid full of adventures, and it also serves as a way to get to know Georgia better” says Mao Goshadze.
Mao Goshadze, who worked for 20 years as a tennis coach and instructor, got involved in off-roading 12 years ago.
Soon after, hearing her mother's stories full of emotion and mud, her daughter Mariam also became fascinated by this exciting sport.
To this day, the mother-daughter crew has earned a reputation as one of the strongest and most accomplished off-road teams in Georgia.
“A person is truly happy when they find that one thing that micro-universe where they give their all, receive emotions, and, of course, give back as well. Some paint, some sculpt, others build things in my opinion, when a person finds this, they are already happy. For me, off-roading is not just about the vehicle. First and foremost, it’s about the team, the relationships, the closeness to nature — and only then, the car” says Mao Goshadze.
